After placing my order, which was very easy, my total wait time to receive was 9 business days. This is the sharpest knife I have bought or made. I make filler knives, but, they just could not take the skin off pork belly if it wasn’t partially frozen. The caveman knife had Zip zap zero problem cutting through the wet/slimy skin. It went through the skin to the fat in large pieces and made my task of getting the belly ready to cure to make bacon. What a blessing the knife was to get 4 big pieces of pork belly cut ready for curing.

These knives are amazing in design and function. I bought the six knife deal, three brown, three black. You can tell the two collors, including the sheaths may be from different manufacturing locations. There are obvious slight differences. Only complaint is the finger hole in the black knives are not smooth, almost cuts your finger. The browns are smooth. Other than that, nice knives, sharp, do the job well.

I received me caveman knife about a week ago. Before I wrote a review I wanted to run it through some paces. I have to say, I love the knife. The finger hole helps with control and the knife is very sharp. Time will tell if the edge holds its sharpness. I would like a little bit tighter sheath. Great knife overall.

I seem the advertising videos of the 1.0 I thought is that real I want one , well I got on and I was impressed my first piece of meat was close to an inch thick , I held the meat by the tip an slid the blade on it it sliced right through good blade even the weight feels good

I bought these one for a gift and i kept one. I have used it a couple of times in the kitchen,where it is comfortable in the hand and performs the way you want it to. The real test will be next fall if i am fortunate enough to kill a deer and/or a bear. Looking forward to using it from beging in the woods to the end while packaging the meat.
