Preparation Method: Marinate and Grill
Marinating Time: at least 30 mins (or overnight for more flavor)
Cooking Time: 4-5 minutes per side
Grill Temperature: Medium-high heat (around 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 204°C)
Ingredients:
- 8 lamb chops
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons of butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, melted butter, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
2. Place the lamb chops in a shallow dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them. Make sure each chop is coated evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and shake off any excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
5. Place the lamb chops on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness.
6. Remove the lamb chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute and ensures a tender and juicy bite.
