A beast of a knife. Who needs a hachet or a chain saw? Bought one for my son and kept one for myself!

I've gotten 16 knives, and have gave most away as gifts with no complaints on any knife. Great quality and sharp, keep up the great work.

I have not used the chopper yet, but I did look at it, handle it and read the accompanying literature. First of all, I understand it to be a cleaver, however the instructions said not to chop bone. Cleavers are made to chop bones. I realize the marketing does not expressly claim it is a cleaver, but any reasonable person would understand it to be one. If it was made to just chop veggies and soft tissue, it would be way lighter and thinner. Its heft weight and build screams CLEAVER. Therefore it is mis represented as a cleaver. The other thing I am not real happy with is the fit and finish of the grip. The scales are very sloppy and not snug up to the tang, and they are slightly smaller. This has the effect of pinching the hand. Not a great big problem, but it should not be so far off. I can probably grind it down to fit flush with some effort. Finally the stated RH is 58. I have dozens of Carbon steel knives rated for that. None of them have problems cutting or chopping through wood or bone. If this blade rolls or chips when I test it, I will review again, letting everyone know it is junk. If it can chop wood and bone, I will review again and proclaim it as a rugged knife that could be relied on in a camp or survival situation at a value price. We will see.

I'm so excited about getting to use it. I haven't yet but will be soon

I absolutely love it. If there was anything wrong with it I would say, the metal in the handle the edges are a little sharp. Between the wood it sticks up just a fraction above the wood. That's all l noticed. It will be ok.

The Caveman Alpha Chopper is the Best Knife that I have ever used on A Daily basis
It's Sharp, Comfortable in either Hand, and Very Easy to Control the Blade 10 out of 10 Plus it's A Eye Catcher when You Entertain at A BBQ I've already Seen People take their Eyes off the Grill to Get A Closer Look at the Knife
I Believe the Only Way to Improve on This Knife would be to have a Leather Knife Sheath to carry it with and I Would Love to Be the First in Line to Purchase it

Great knife, high quality steel and excellent handle. I do wonder why a sheath and stone aren’t offered for or with it .

Great knife. Super sharp and well balanced! A must have!

It's all there for sure! It came quite dull and if held just right (or wrong) the handle rattles.

Honestly, love the knife. Maybe its just me, but when i hold a knife i like to know there is something in my hands so i love the size and weight and the finish definately screams Daddy. "Im Daddy in my house of me and my 4 kids." The sheath, the packaging, the finish, how well it cuts, everything was great. Loved cutting soke home grown garden fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and beets with this one. Only two reasons i only gave 4 stars. The wooden handle was a tiny bit lose (i assume due to possible shipping.) Second reason as previously mentioned, the handle had the engraving "Papa's Knife" which is great, if I'm giving this to my Dad. But im Daddy. Other than that, definitely a 5 star chopper knife.

Badass razor sharp

These 2 where very nice had a hiccup with 2 I purchased a while ago still working it out. But cool knives nevertheless

Have several knives from Caveman style….but this one is definitely my favorite. Nice and heavy to cut through tough cartilage and small bone but nimble enough so it doesn’t feel like a axe. The edge above the drop point is actually sharpened. BE CAREFUL! These knives are extremely sharp out of the box, more so than high end kitchen knives purchased at cooking stores. If you are looking for a tool to spatchcock chicken, cleave ribs, carve a big brisket, get this one. You will not be disappointed.

All the knifes are awesome

I have used the knife to slice potatoes thin for frying in the skillet and it was balanced and made slicing easy a lot easier than a smaller knife I use to use balance is important.

Great quality!! I have 4 knives from caveman now, love the product!
